Clear read-only/locked state from an AcroForm PDF — field-level and widget-level.

Note: this Node version handles field-level and widget-level locks only. For a PDF that's also encrypted or owner-password/permission-restricted, use the Python/pikepdf version of Unlocker instead — pdf-lib has no safe way to remove that kind of restriction (it will refuse rather than risk corrupting the file).

1. Unlock everything

One click: clears the field-level ReadOnly flag (including one inherited from a parent, e.g. a radio group) and every widget's ReadOnly/Locked/LockedContents annotation flags.

2. Export lock status as CSV

Exports every field in the AcroForm with its page #, type, name, and current Locked? status (Y/N), plus a blank Unlock? column.

3. Import edited CSV (selective unlock)

Upload the same PDF again, plus your edited CSV, with Unlock? set to Y only for the fields you want freed. Rows are matched back to the document by page # + tab #, recomputed fresh from the PDF.

Only rows with Unlock? set to Y (or Yes/1/True/X) are touched.
A field inheriting its lock from a parent gets its own override, so siblings aren't affected.
